Battery selection:

  • High quality rechargeable low-discharge 1.2V NiMH AAA battery (or 1.7V lithium) is recommended for extended runtime and output
  • High quality alkaline AAA battery may also be used for reduced runtime compared to NiMH. Always take out battery before storage as alkaline battery may leak. Do not use any other chemistry type non-rechargeable AAA battery.
  • Rechargeable 10440 li-ion battery with button top may also be used for increased output. However, use or carry this type of battery at your own risk. EAGTAC is not responsible for any damage or injury resulted from using li-ion battery in this flashlight.

 

Basic operations:

  • Turn on the light by tightening the head
  • Turn off the flashlight by loosing the head
  • Loose and tight the head within one second to cycle between brightness levels
  • Cycle two set of regular brightness levels to enter hidden AUX levels

 

Advanced operations:

  • Cycle three sets of complete hidden AUX levels to toggle memory setting once

 

Others:

  • 0.5V output dim and shutdown (AAA)
  • 3.0V output dim and shutdown (li-ion) (Do not solely rely on built-in li-ion low voltage protection, as circuit will still consume 1ma current after shutdown and battery voltage will go down slowly if left connected. Hence, user should charge li-ion before it reaches low voltage protection. Discard li-ion battery that is deeply discharge below 2.7V.)
